BBQ PLATE SET

A BBQ Grill Plate Set.
This rare and collectible, French, plate set is perfect for outdoor dining with “French chic”! The plates are marked “La Grillade”, “La Pierrade” and “Pierre a Griller” and illustrated in the most amazing detail.The more you look at the motifs, the more you see. The illustrations on the plates and round platter show the steak sitting on a heated stone slab, the oval platter shows the barbecue, with a bed of coals and little lines of smoke rising. There is the obligatory jar of “Herbs de Provence”, alongside the plate of freshly grilled chops, surrounded by fresh parsley, tomatoes, onions, shallots, garlic and red peppers. The traditional jar of ‘moutard’ (mustard) and wine sit next to the bread on the lovely red, chequered, table cloth. The wine is shown in a traditional wicker carafe carrier with gorgeous little fine details, such as the twisted wicker handle and cork stopper. The edge border is a joyful array of vegetables, again with fabulous extra touches, like the tiny separated garlic cloves. The plates and round platter have a blue checkered cloth and the traditional long fork, with little “tea light” candles showing under the stone hot plate.
